Intermountain Veterinary Services is a full-service pet hospital offering laboratory, surgery, pharmacy, & x-ray services. Our team is committed to providing personal attention to each pet and pet owner. We love being a part of our client’s family, as we’re very personal.

Veterinarians Dr. Steve Carr & Dr. Corinne Winn, serve animal clientele from: Alpine, Lehi, Orem, Provo, Salt Lake City, Draper, and all of Utah County. They understand that dealing with pet emergencies can be complex and stressful, and problems often occur when you least expect them. As pet owners, they know that your pet is a treasured family member, and needs proper and timely health care. Our vets strive to provide a quality life for pets and their owners.

Dr. Steve Carr

Steve Carr, DVM graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. In May 1997 he graduated from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from vet school, he started his career in Salem, Oregon. In August 2001 he purchased a vet clinic in Spokane and moved his growing family to Eastern Washington. In August 2020 he purchased Intermountain Veterinary services from Dr. Lamb. He likes his 5 minute commute, loves the Utah mountains and really likes living closer to his adult children.

Dr. Carr and his wife, Danelle met at BYU and have been married since January 1992. They have 5 children (the 3 oldest are married): Stevie (married to Carter Fawcett), Brett (married to Nina Gonzales), Kacey (married to Gary Crye), Jake and TJ. Dr. Carr enjoys spending time with his family and looking forward to being a grandpa someday! His favorite thing to do is horseback riding and spending as much time as he can up in the mountains! He especially likes overnight pack trips in the wilderness! He is excited to explore all the trails located here in Utah.

Dr. Carr has wanted to be a veterinarian since he was a child and has had many pets during his lifetime. Since moving to Utah he has inherited the clinic cat, Lazarus. He also has two Sulcata Tortoises: Tortie-Boy & Lucky; two horses: Buster & Mocha, a Border Collie named Dusty!

Dr. Corinne Winn

Dr. Corinne Winn was raised in Brigham City, Utah and has always had a love of animals. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Brigham Young University, she attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at various clinics around Northern Utah, but has found a home at Intermountain Veterinary Services for the past 15 years.

She married Gentry Winn, and they have 6 crazy kids, a cat named Piggy, a dog named Cory, and several fish. They lost their cute pet rats a few years ago and are looking to get more in the near future.

Dr. Winn loves to spend time with her family, go on bike rides, build with legos, sew, read, and watch Phineas and Ferb. She is also an avid Wonder Woman fan!

We are dedicated to taking the very best care of your pets. We are passionate about animals and treating them. Our friendly and clean veterinary hospital includes services for dogs, cats, and all other animals. This includes spays, neuters, X-rays, dental care, and vaccinations; all with loving care. We offer compassionate care while examining and treating pet emergencies.

I have taken my dogs to Dr Richard Lamb and IVS since 1988! Six dogs so far and each one of them has received amazing care from Dr Lamb! Though there are clinics closer to my home, I chose to drive 45 mins each way to see him, as he is THAT GOOD!!
